ROSTOCK, November 29 (Bundesliga) - Having returned to former club Hamburg last weekend, Hansa Rostock coach Frank Pagelsdorf welcomes hometown side Hannover to the Ostseestadion on Friday.Having coached Hamburg for four years during the nineties, it was an emotional return for the Pagelsdorf, who will relish the prospect of facing Hannover this week.
The 49-year-old started and finished his playing career at Hannover, while also coaching the reserves during the 1991-92 season and still has strong links with the club.
However, after being away from Hannover for so long, Pagelsdorf believes a lot has changed at the club.
"The philosophy at Hannover has altered and the expectations have risen,'' he said.
"They signed Mike Hanke before the start of the season and have put together a really strong team.''
Pagelsdorf has also constructed a strong squad at Hansa and will have all his players available for selection.
Defender Benjamin Lense missed training on Tuesday with flu, but returned on Wednesday and should be fit.
Hannover coach Dieter Hecking also has no injury problems to contend with after Szabolcs Huszti returned to training on Wednesday.
And Hecking is preparing his side for a tough fight at the Ostseestadion as they look to get their first win in three games.
"We have got to be prepared for the fact that Rostock will not gift us anything,'' he said.
"They will fight until there is nothing left in them.''
