Why All the Road Matches After Midweek Europa League Matches?

Sunday at Wigan marked the fifth time in six matches that Fulham has had to play on the road following a midweek Europa League contest. The Cottagers battled hard at the DW Stadium and earned a 1-1 draw which moves them up to a respectable 11th in the Premier League table. The bigger issue though is why the Premier League schedule makers have made the Cottagers travel almost every weekend following a European match. It does not make sense and really makes you wonder if the Premier League is hoping Fulham fails at either the Europa League or even the Premier League. Continued...
